L’Atelier is a passage recorded in situ, at Atelier Y.
The session took place within an open environment,
closer to a listening space than a performance.
People arrived, moved, stayed, or passed through.
The sound was not fixed to a stage,
but distributed in time and presence.
This passage emerges from that condition.
A shared situation,
where attention shifts,
where listening is partial,
where the structure must hold without imposing itself.
Rather than guiding,
the sound adapts.
It allows multiple states to coexist:
foreground and background,
focus and drift,
intensity and absence.
L’Atelier is not conceived as a closed form,
but as a structure able to absorb movement,
variation, and circulation.
A passage shaped by space,
by presence,
and by the instability of attention.
The passage unfolds as a gradual shift.
It begins with space,
with field and extended tones.
Structure appears slowly.
Layers accumulate.
Rhythm emerges without rupture.
The system intensifies,
moving toward a collective state.
Then, it releases.
Density dissolves.
Forms disperse.
The space returns.
The passage remains open.

This passage was conceived
within an open environment.
It can be entered at any moment,
without the need to follow
from beginning to end.
Listening may shift between
focus and distance,
between attention and drift.
Movement is allowed.
Presence is variable.
The passage unfolds in parallel
to its surroundings.
It does not require isolation,
but a certain availability.
A space where sound
can be followed, left,
and found again.
